Since this is a site geared toward erotic nature, I was just wondering how often (if ever) do you guys and girls ever write something in your stories that you would NEVER do in real life?
How about things you do in real life but would never think about writing them down for anyone to see?

Question 1.

All the time. Some of my stories include things that are impossible for anyone because they involve fantasy people or creatures and make-believe worlds.

Question 2.

Most of the things that would be either boring or disgusting. My characters never cut their toenails or clean out their navel fluff...

One did have dandruff. Several have used condoms. That upset some readers.

I write a lot of reluctance, where the woman isn't interested at first, or downright hates it, but is then swept away by her own passion and the man's mastery. They're just pure fantasies, though. I would never, ever try to force myself on a woman.

I think most of what we write here are fantasies, which is to say, lies and daydreams. Someone once said that porn is sexual propaganda, which means the same thing: it's idealized. It's sex as we wish it were, not as it is. That's what makes it porn and not literature.

Really, one's own life has little to do with it, ordinarily.

I would agree entirely with the above posts. I'm thinking of writing a humor/satire piece that's based on real sex. Note that, real sex here is humor and satire, in my opinion of course.

My writings in erotica are daydreams and fantasies. Sometimes I'll have a really good idea when I masturbate and try to make it a story. Usually though I can't write something without the characters somehow changing. So, for me, just writing about getting off doesn't do much for me. Much like Zoot, I like the thought and idea of a woman's defenses being broken down by passion and need. The man in control showing the woman what she "really" wants. That one instant where the fight in the woman subsides as the dammed up passions break sets me off.

If I wrote about real life personal experiences then I might write about that one time where we both stopped in the middle to eat a sandwhich then went back to each other. Fun times. Food, diet Coke, time, and tv, leaves the possibilites endless.

It's like that old joke, "Honey, are you in yet?" "In? Hell, I'm done. I'm on the couch watching TV." Ah, real sex. Gotta love it. Please note, extreme sarcasm.

I try never to write anything that can't actually happen in real life- but, not many of my stories are based on strict fact. Really great real sex leaves me no reason to write! :)

I played a lot in the leather queer scene, till jobs etc. slowed me down. In my "Baroness' Boy" story- two of the incidents really did take place, on one day- and I wanted to sleep for a year afterwards. No way in hell could anyone muster the energy to do all of that in eighteen hours! And one other happening was on an entirely different weekend. The rest of it is fantasy, some from other people's stories, some brought on by unsatisfactory scenes -rewritten, how I wished they had gone....
Walking past a woman getting fisted in the dirt- that was real. I wish you could have been there. :p

Reality

I try to write things with plausability. However, reality has little to do with anything I write except, sometimes as a basis for characters or character traits. Then again, there was that one time when I entombed a woman in fiberglass for 20 or so years...

How did it all come out? :D

(if ever) do you guys and girls ever write something in your stories that you would NEVER do in real life?

Yes... and it suprises the hell out of women when they offer and I say 'No, thank you." as politely as possible.

Not because I don't WANT to do it, but there are some things I would never try because I might not be able to return from.

How about things you do in real life but would never think about writing them down for anyone to see?

Nope... everything in real life is open to the story.

Sincerely,

Question 1:

Not as of yet, but I have a scene planned where something that i would never do (and don't intend as a turn-on to readers, for the record) is going to take place. Eventhough I have written some stroke here, my intent with the majority of my stories is to write a story and allow erotic content within. It isn't usually (though my Literotica submissions don't yet illustrate this) a story for the sake of being erotic. Porn and erotic are elements at times, but never the point.

Question 2:

Things I do that I would never think about writing in my stories? You mean like finish first? Maybe even prematurely? You mean like jerk off? Pretty much anything can reach the content. Reality has its place there, I think, regardles of whether or not it's really erotic.
