On my screen, here at Authors, some thread-titles , in the main listing are in Bold. These in general precede--top the list of-- the thread-titles with regular font. Why is this, and How does one go bold? (I wish to be in the upper crust!)

I thought that they were simply the ones I hadn't read yet. Seems to be the general gist of it, although now and then it's a little off.

Bold titles are for new threads and those that have updates you haven't read. Once you've read them they should go back to a normal font until there's another new update.

There it goes again... the perfect pitch sails by without even a flinch of a swing.

The rare golden opportunity for the classic forced leg over-extension, and somebody jumps in with the proper answer. Not even an attempt... not even an over the top, "those are the threads by others with 'H' stories"...

Does nobody here enjoy a good chuckle?

Those were the days. Four or five years ago there would have been a dozen tongue-in-cheek postings by people who had PMed the true answer.
