When I first starting visiting Lit, I hung out in the Lounge. People rarely talked to me & 25 lines scrolling by dealing with 2 people kissing/stripping/whatever is amazingly dull. It is hard for others to chat if the same few people keep the screen going on with what should be a private converstion. I thought a chat room was for talking, if people want to do a strip show, they should take it to a private room unless everyone in the chat room is interested. JMO, I think it is easier to have a conversation with someone here on the BB.

Other things are acceptable in the right time and place, but not all the time and not everywhere. The reason there are multiple rooms at Lit is to let everyone do whatever they please without bothering other people. To expect people to behave appropriately to the room they are in is not censorship, it is common sense so that the place can function. The lounge is for everyone, it is very busy, and therefore it has behavior standards. People can do whatever they want to--just take it private or take it down the hall.

I agree with greeneyes. I chat a lot (yes, I use a different name, which is curious40... not too hard to figure out if you read my profile and look at my e-mail address).

I have no problem with people kissing, hugging, and stripping in the lounge. But... if you want to cyber, go to another room. Please. Whether it's a private room, a pm screen, or just a different room. And by cybering, I mean two or more people seriously fucking in the lounge. Not just someone flirting, or making sexy remarks, or... you get the idea. Wiggle all you want, just don't tell me you're putting your hard throbbing manhood into someone's wet hot womanhood (how's that for euphemism).

The lounge is a great place for new people to get their feet wet, so to speak, and for people to chat with friends. Adult chat, certainly, which is what you expect in an adult erotic chat room.

I also agree with Ksss. And Ksss... your posts here are not unwelcome at all. I think that as a CM, your opinion of this is important.

As for the CMs, they are definitely needed and are doing a great job. I can't tell you the number of times that there has been no CM in the lounge and a CM has been needed there. Probably because when the CMs are there, people either behave or get booted.

As for offensive... well, some of the comments made by teenagers looking for attention (18 yr olds, not minors) are way more annoying to me than someone passionately kissing or fondling or stripping for someone else. If I want to listen to neurotic teenagers, I can do that at home. (thinking I'm gonna get flamed for that lol)
And I happen to like kissing, fondling, and stripping lol. Which is one of the many reasons why I go to Lit chat.

If I don't like what is happening in the lounge, I ignore it or I leave.

Ok im here to voice my opinion, and not to bash cm's. Ksss i think you do a great job at lit as well as the other cm's,but i have to agree with busty this isnt a romper room.If people wish to sit,wiggle,giggle and kiss hey thats fine. I like alot of others dont want to see sex in the lounge nor do i wish to see strip teases. That should be taken in private. But as far as the kissing wiggling and giggling or whatever it might be, as long as its not hurting anyone i think that it should be allowed, just because one person dosent like it dosent mean that it shouldnt be done. Ive been coming to lit for over a year and lots of things have changed some good and some bad,myself im greatful for all of the cm's. I think you do a very good job. and for that i thank you.

Now that I'm done with my meet and greets...
Let me say a few things. I have been coming into Lit chat for about 8 months now. I go there as a source of entertainment, and as a way to have fun with friends. Lit chat has given me some really great friends, as well as a window to some great pain in my own personal life. But, that's just my point. I left for a few weeks when it got to that point. When it's too much, when you stop getting something positive from the experience, or when you stop enjoying yourself...it's time to make a decision. Not a hard one. Enjoy...stay/not enjoying...leave. We are all adults here. At the end of every day, and each time we log off, we all have our lives to get back to. If it's not a positive thing in your life, than why? We all have better places to be, and better things to be doing than the things that fail to bring us joy.
As for the CM bashing, or just people bashing in general, I had hoped that we all had learned our lesson the last time. I think that we do have some great CM's in Lit chat, and am appreciative of the couple of times I needed their presence. Thank you very much.
