Question for authors

I've been a big fan and contributor of this community for a while but recently I've been wondering if there is another place as good as Lit for non-erotic fiction.

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

I've been looking for the same thing myself. My researches so far have convinced me Literotica is unique. I have yet to find a site that even begins to measure up. Which makes me all the more thankful for this site. It is a gem.

She's on the button. The 'non-erotic' category gets a lot of attention and many a popular 'romance' story/series has the disclaimer" there is no sex".

There is room here for non-erotic fiction and I haven't found better.

The truth is there are a lot of other sites out there but First; it would be unfair to this site and wrong to suggest other sites. I as well as others post on a number of other sites but on Literotica I get the most reads and a very nice comment and feedback section. I would place a guess that if you read stories on other sites that they might be listed here as well.

Safe yourself the time and effort and go to Literoticas story and search section and you'll find more than enouth stories to keep you happy. By the way, I have posted a number of both non-erotic and Romance stories on this site. Good luck in your reading.

Like DG, I've posted a few stories in Non-erotic. One story ended up getting me a three book mainstream book deal. So, yes, there is a good audience for Non-erotic here. On the other hand, you also have a few trolls who feel that category should not be on this site and bomb everything.

There is always bad with the good anywhere you go.

I've posted stories on other sites, in fact I started on another site before I was pointed to Lit. None have anywhere near the traffic this site has. People bitch about this and that on Lit but you have the same problems on other sites also.

Wouldn't it be funny if someone who troll ed you there ended up buying your books?

I don't read anything over there but looking at the top lists it gets more attention than I would have thought.

I sent a copy of the first book to my biggest "fan". I haven't heard from him since.

I've done all right in the non-erotic category.

I have a dozen in the nonerotic category--most Christmas context entries. Over half have Hs (whatever "hot" means for a nonerotic story) and all are above 4.0 in rating, so they've done fine.
