Question for all of those with avatars

As you may notice I have finally reached my 100 post (yaaaay me lol)

I am trying to add an avatar now and it says there are none to choose from. Ok I can live with that.

I have a really great picture that I would like to use and I have tried to upload it using my options buttons. I have followed all the directions (which are few) and updated and then checked my old posts and even done some new ones but still no picture,

Anybody have any ideas?

It is in control panel & options but the picture must be no bigger than 150 X 150 pixels.

Attach your picture tp a post and I can resize if you wish

It takes FOREVER for mine to upload each time. Are you giving it enough time?

Did you use the Browse button? Did you size it down to at least 150x150 ?

Also make sure you clicked the option to use an avatar.

I have always been able to upload my quickly (less than 30 seconds or so) I am using a 56k modem normally connected at/around 44000.

also make sure your pic has ".jpeg" at the end. I am a mac user so I always have to add that so any windows based computer knows what it is. (gee shoulndt it know since it ia a computer???)

I imagine that your picture is too big or too detailed to load, & if that's all it is, somebody will generously resize it for you. If you're still having trouble ask Harold, he's very helpful & he has the answers.
