Question: delays in updates?

Hi. New author here. (This is Annie from The Writing Group.) My first story posted today. Some of the stuff on the control panel doesn't seem to be updating in sync. I just got notified of a comment on the story, but the All Comments page doesn't show it.

The All Activity tab shows four people following me, but the top of my one story, "Coffee With Blushes", says I have 3.

So ... is there usually a lag before all the various places things appear, agree with each other?

Nothing is ever in synch. Different parts of the site update at different times, and from what I can see, draw data up from different places.

The only "place of truth" is your Author's Control Panel - it updates Views and Votes in real time, and you can find comments if you click on a story in your Works list even before they show up in your own feed.

Everywhere else on the site that shows your story stats is wrong - there is always a lag that never seems to catch up.
