Question about works activity

I just published my first story. I was looking at the part of the site where my work activity is and I am wondering what the three lines next to the favorite heart represent?

The vertical bars? That's the number of views.

It's just an icon. Next to the icon is the number of views you story has received.

You can get more eyes on your story if you post a note in New Story Advertisments in the Story Feedback forum.

It also helps to put a link to your story page, or individual stories, in signature (click on your name at the top of your screen for a pull-down menu that includes the "Signature" option).

Hovering over various icons in the story list in your admin panel will show tooltips explaining what they are and providing the exact number of views/favorites/etc.
