Question About the Illustrated Section's Rules

Hey guys, can someone who has experience posting in or screening for the Illustrated section please help me out?

I am working on a story, told from the female POV, about a boyfriend and girlfriend sexting each other. The main sexual component would be the girlfriend masturbating. My original plan was to post this in the Letters & Transcripts section and simply describe the pictures that the girlfriend sends, but now I am considering using actual pictures (of a consenting adult, used with explicit permission, and crediting the model) and posting it in the Illustrated section.

I am well aware of the guidelines for pictures posted on the forums, but I'm not sure what the exact guidelines are for the Illustrated section.

Those of you who can speak with authority, please tell me whether this story will be accepted into the Illustrated section in any form and, if so, what the exact restrictions would be.

I love Literotica, and I very much want to make sure that I am operating in accordance with the rules!

PM Laurel. She can tell you with 100% accuracy what is and is not allowed.

Thank you for the tip. Can you tell me what her exact username is? There are a lot of users with "laurel" in their name.

I'm pretty sure that she's just Laurel. (She was here before the others. :))

Photos have a lot of restrictions.

Photographs also have these rules: Legally, we can allow soft nudity in photographs, but under current United States law, photographs posted on this site may not contain "sexually explicit conduct", which the government defines as:

- Actual or simulated:
(A) sexual intercourse, including genital-genital, oral-genital, anal-genital, or oral-anal, whether between persons of the same or opposite sex;
(B) bestiality;
(C) masturbation;
(D) sadistic or masochistic abuse; or
(E) lascivious exhibition of the genitals or pubic area of any person.

Odds are that you're not going to be able to post anything that remotely resembles your vision under those restrictions.

With the rules for illustration, it's probably best to stick with your original category Letters & Transcripts.

Thank you, everyone, for your help. I have really appreciated it!
