Question about story ratings

I was looking at my stories on my profile page and noticed something odd. On submission page one of my stories shows rating of 4.78 with 65 votes. But the same story shows a rating for 4.84 and 64 votes on the top story lists page.

Which is right, and why are they showing different numbers?

The various lists update at different times. Don't know which is the most recent updating of the lists you cite.

Your own submission page is always the most up to date listing, votes count immediately after they are registered. The top lists can take hours, sometimes longer to update changes.
