question about smilies

that I'm embarrassed to ask. How do I add them to my posts? I feel like an imbecile but I couldn't figure it out on my own.

Click on post reply to a post in any thread. Scroll to the bottom of the reply page and you'll see a box that has Forum Rules. There is a link in that box that says smilies. Click that link and it will give you the code for all the active smilies in the forum.

Find the url address (the http thing) of a pic/smilie you like. You may need to right-click and "copy shortcut" or go to "properties." Then COPY it.

Then when posting a reply
