Good morning peeps! I finally figured out the folders thing in the control panel and saved some messages...

Question though. Do they count against your total in/out quota? I don't want to overload my box. Not that it happens often :D

But I dont want to delete certain messages...

Yeppers! Anything in any folder counts towards your total.

Sucks but...

Also, don't forget to delete all your sent messages and your tracked messages!

How many PM's total are you allowed? I have tried to find this answer but haven't been able to.

100 including all PMs in all boxes (except tracking).

Yes it does! So what's the point in having forlders? I guess I'll just print out hard copies of what I want to keep...

Thank you guys!

my box was always getting full, and I wanted to save a few. Someone told me to just name a textfile after the person, and copy and paste their letters into it. It helps me and makes it easier to clear out my box. It seems to fill faster than I can copy and paste sometimes!

I've also e-mailed copies of some that I want to keep. Gmail is great for that sort of thing with the 1000 megs of storage they have. Helps keep the hardrive from becoming over loaded as well as the possiblity of losing anything if the pc crashes...

I would definitely recommend saving them as word or text files. Just make sure to include the contact information (i.e. name of sender).

For those who have a need to preserve "old business" I recommend this:

(procedures for IE5.5 but all broswer have some version of the capabilty)

1: Open the PM.

2: Click File -> Save As on the menu bar.

3: In the "Save As Type" pulldown list, choose "Webpage HTML Only"

4: choose the local folder you want to store PMs in.

5: (Optional) rename the file to identify the date and corespondent)

6: Click Save.

The above procedure leaves you with a local copy of the PM that will permit you to reply to it as if it were stored on literotica's servers instead of your cmputer.
