Question about Lit hook-ups

I am a long time reader of the stories on Lit and recently became aware of the forums.

Recently I read a story written by a man from my area and thought I would write to him because I like his style and he was listed (on the story profile) as being between 33-40. I like being with younger men and I don't look or act my age, so they like me, too.

Well, he responded back telling me that he was married and in his 60's. I came here to see if he ever posted in the forums and sure enough, he has since early in this decade, about looking for a "lady to cheat", etc. In his email to me he wrote he was "relationed to the hilt" but was looking for fun if I was interested.

I love the way he writes but was a bit shocked that he has 2 different ages set in each of his profiles. I guess I am concerned about how safe it is to hook up. Yes, I know, I don't have to talk more to him or I can and get to know him, but there is something drawing me his direction even though he is way different than what I initially thought about him when I wrote to him about his story.

If anyone from my area would like to talk and compare notes, maybe some of you might know him. Would love to receive PM's about this, as I don't think I want to mention his name here on an open forum.

Oh, I referenced my area but never said where I am. I am in the New York City area and so is the writer which I mentioned in my first post.

I don't think I can say it turned out badly... just being cautious. He portrayed himself as one age in the story profile and that is why I wrote to him. BUT, I love the way he writes. If he is anything in person as he is in writing, he's got me hooked and I would look past the age thing.

So, since you are 2 hours to my north, do you ever come to the city than never sleeps? ;)

You know, those winds from the north can be a bit chilly but I think I am hot enough to keep things... Hot! ;)

Funny, I came on here because of questions about someone else but it looks like there is a whole other reason that might be in the works... :kiss:

I have had something similar happen. Though not for a RL meet. But chatted with people who portray themself as one thing, or age. But then down the road you find out differently. It pays to be cautious. I have met 2 people off Lit. One was a sexual thing that turned relationship, and one was a friend thing. I was luck that both turned out so well. Good Luck to you!

Thanks for your comments. I was just surprised that it was such a difference of age, 20+ years!

Do you find that there are a lot of people who are willing to have MANY hook-ups???
 
If you love how he writes, why the need to hook up in RL? Just keep exchanging hot messages, have fun with him that way and keep your real life hook ups younger males who you know from their looks are the age they tell you they are. I'm sure there's no shortage of them in NYC and you sound like a lady who knows what she wants so ...why worry about some married guy not living up to your expectations?
