ok, so the other night, I gave head...and now my jaw is sore...haha, it's funny but it's not. I'm not sure if I did something different, or wrong or what. I am inexperienced, as I have only given head 3 times...and I have no partner. but a last bit of info, about 4 years ago, my track coach hit me in the face with a football, I believe it dislocated my jaw, becuz it cracks when I open and close it, and sometimes when I'm eating. the other times I have done this, my jaw didn't hurt. I'm confused :(

If your jaw was previously dislocated, then it's got nothing to do with giving head. You probably just have a weak jaw now and even excessive chewing may make it sore.

You might want to get into a...

...training program before trying that again. You’ll get people advising you to “work on bananas” and “come over, I’ll help you with this problem” but your jaw is important for eating, speaking and smiling so we want to MAKE SURE you get headed (no pun intended) in the right direction.

There are numerous felatio programs available depending on your experience level, interests, and plans for future, um, activity. Beyond just technique you should learn the history, fundamentals, and physiological requirements to understand, appreciate and excel at this special skill. Sure, you could peruse erotic video, surf the Net and this site for “How To” articles, and ask your circle of friends for their insight but you might already be risking further injury by not seeking out professional or at least qualified training and consultation.

I recommend the Felatio Pilates exercise system to start building the proper muscle tone in your jaw -- while simultaneously building strong back, neck, wrist, and leg muscles. [check facilities in your area for availability] I’ve talked to some people who swear by this program (damned if I couldn’t talk them into demonstrating the value of what they learned though!).

In the US look into the National Federation of Felatio Training & Support [NFFTS] (www.nffts.com) for more information. You can become a member of this association. I think “Just the Tip” membership is only like 25 bucks [with discounts to students and over 60 members] while “The Whole Shaft” membership is 70 or 75 bucks [that includes half off their annual meeting]. Only professionally certified trainers and adult entertainment executives and performers can join the “No Hands” membership level.

NFFTS’s website is very comprehensive including a gift area. I admit to giving out their t-shirt “Don’t be b…b…bad to the bone!” to a few friends last Christmas!. There are similar well-respected groups located in a number of other countries offering support to the men, women and transgendered people across the globe who give so much pleasure to so many.

Good luck and may your jaw be forever ready for more action. Shoot, that goes for the rest of your casual sweetness.

are you for real?! it's a bit much to all take in. in fact I've read it a couple times, and I'm still not sure I understand. but don't mind me, I'll try to figure it out, haha. I'm a bit slow at times.

Perhaps you just lingered far too long (I doubt if your BF complained either! ). How long were you going down on him?? Try doing other things such as licking & such where you could give your jaw a break for a few seconds. I'm sure your jaw muscles needed a break if you were going non-stop on him. Worst case scenario is that you might have TMJ; let's hope it's not that!

About the football thing, I doubt if that had anything to do with it, but what a horrid experience to bring up! Ouch!:(

I guess it was a pretty long time...now that I think about it...it actually locked up for a brief moment when I lifted my mouth off...hmmm I dunno. I must be weird.

Yes, I am for real.

Ok, this is just my own perspective but I am for real. Really.

However, this status might change without notification. Check your local listings.

Nah...every guy should be as so lucky to have a GF so "weird" like you. Chalk this one up to experience & try alternating techniques on him. It'll be less physically demanding for you & I'm sure you BF will enjoy the variety too.

Sometimes my SO will complain that her jaw hurts too after giving head. It just might be that it took a long time to bring me off. At times I get right in to what she is doing and enjoy all the feelings of her mouth on my member. And it will take me along time before I cum. Even though she will continue until I do, thankfully. She doesn't like to leave things undone, luckily, LOL.

Sweetie, don't pay any attention to him. He's always full of it. I haven't once seen him post anything that was legit.

Oh, and I have tmj, so I always get a cramped jaw when giving head. Try what LustEngine recommended. I, too, don't think it has anything to do with the yucky football incident. Don't give up on going down, it's worth the discomfort well all is said and done. :rose:

Well, I get cramped tongue after an hour or two, and I never had tongue trauma...

JLP :p :p :p

Sorry if I gave you the wrong advice, but I was speaking from personal experience. I've had my jaw dislocated over 5 years ago and my doctor told me I could get it fixed through surgery, but it would still be weak even if I did. He just suggested not eating too many hard foods, such as tacos and thick steaks, and not yawning too widely. It eventually popped back into place, but it still gets sore when I give head or chew excessively.

I hope you didn't think that I was challenging what you said. That wasn't my intention. I was just putting in my 2 cents also. :rose:

I too have TMJ and I find I just need to use other options once in a while if it gets too sore...using your hand, or just licking for a while will probably help you.

You should go punch your track coach in jaw. :D

Have you had your wisdom teeth removed? If not, that may help.

I have the same problem a lot of the time when giving head, even if I chew gum for too long. I doubt it has to do with the football thing, but get it checked nonetheless. Good luck with things, hopefully its not too serious.

what its called is tmj, and your dentist can help you...
it is serious, and can be treated, or, it could be like the guys said, practice more, not like any of them are gonna complain if you do it "too long"
