Question about doing it for money

I can't be the first one to think about this, so I'll put it out there.

I love---really love---writing and then posting here at Lit.

What I've wondered about though is writing here, as well as posting like a blog or other series, where there is a subscription involved.

Who would I speak to at Lit about setting up something like this?

Or, does it already exist???

Seems like a first story here would be apporpriate, and then maybe sequels posted in a pay by the month or something similar area.

Any thoughts?

See the Scouries thread. He claims to be getting paid by LIT for his stories, even though he's not.

But seriously, your best bet would be to start up your own website. There are many erotica websites already in existence with paid-for content, but the competition for acceptance is fierce, and the pay is pitiful. Unfortunately, authors are running up against the same dilemma now faced by musicians - there is free content everywhere, and no one wants to pay for something they can get for nothing.

On the plus side, I just heard that the web domain name situation is going to change very soon, opening up endless possibilities for new sites. For example, although the domain name Boobs R Us dot com is probably already taken, under the new system, you could claim Boobs R Us dot C-cup and have your own site. Doesn't that sound fun? Actually, that's a bad example, because the name has to be trademarkable, but you get the idea.

There is a site rppstories dot com that is a pay story site, for non-consensual stories. But even as much as I love the stories, I wouldn't pay for that. I wrote a story they published, and got a free membership as pay.
