Question about cervix during sex

Hi, not a weirdo I promise. Its research for a story, okay.

I'm writing a erotic coupling/romance story and part of it has developed to include discussion and reactions to deeper thrusts hitting/entering a girl's cervix. The female lead is a smaller girl, the guys average or a bit over, nothing crazy.

Okay, maybe I am a bit of a weirdo, just a bit.

I'm interested in opinions about a possible progression from her being understandably caution and avoiding impact to the cervix to her seeking it out and enjoying it at later stages of intercourse. Is that at all realistic. (I'm strictly average size and only been with a handful of average size girls where there was sometimes a sensation of touching/entering but only just in some cases).

(Spoiler: It's impossible for a penis to penetrate the cervix during sex, but in some cases women might feel pleasure from pressure in that area)

And remember, this isn't a common thing - for most women, any kind of pressure on the cervix equals severe pain and would be an instant turn-off

Awesome, thanks for your thoughts. And that article was great, gave me some angles to consider for my story. :)

The cervix isn't located at the absolute deepest part of the vagina, and it's located in a recess called the Fonix Vaginae that is offset towards the front so when a woman is getting fucked by a largish penis in most positions, it will rub against rather than hit the cervix. If the penis is big enough it will stretch the vagina which will put sideways pressure on the cervix rather than just smack straight into it.

I have felt a penis seeming to smack into me (I had assumed cervix) because it felt too long to fit inside me. Maybe that was just how it felt and that wasn’t the biological reason. A little uncomfortable but overall a nice feeling

I misread the key word in the title as cervids.
I wonder if a need for glasses or a therapist is more pressing.
Glad the OP got some good answers before I rolled in with this pointless remark. (y)

This. Pressing on the cervix hurts like fuck. This cervical penetration thing is just an eyerolling myth probably started by Japanese anime porn bull. It's not real guys.

1 ~ Unless you're Ron Jeremy X3, your dick can't reach that far.

2 ~ If it does reach, there's no way that you're getting past it, like ever.

3 ~ If you press on it, it hurts, and no she won't learn to like it.

And just so you know, the vagina basically has no nerve endings past the gee, so any length that you have past say 4 inches is pretty much redundant. This means that her small dicked husband can fuck her just as well as you can with your monster.

Years ago we used to swap with friends.
Wife put a stop to it and never said why for years and then she told me the other guys had long dicks and they were obsessed with pounding her into the mattress which she said was due to their cocks hitting her cervix and it felt like a punch in the stomach on every stroke.
No reason not to believe her story.
I figured she was having the time of her life boy was I wrong

Funny thing, I know a woman who doesn't mind it. It's not always her go to of choice, but she's gone there. Different strokes for different folks, I guess.

"Different strokes." You funny.

I had a girlfriend 40 years ago who would press down very hard in cowgirl with the apparent intent of touching my tip with her cervix, and she would rock her pelvis to rub the contact. She seemed to be successful on a couple of occasions. She was a strange lady.

The cervix will move up and down through the menstrual cycle, sometimes really noticeably. So example dialogue might be
"Aagh! You just hit my cervix!"
"Sorry, I thought that was just your vaginal wall. I'm sure that was a good spot for you last week!"
"Well this week, it isn't!"

On the other hand, at some times of the month, most likely just before her period, she may be begging for him to fuck her doggy style for max depth and hardness, and wanting her cervix bashed into. But not all women will ever like that.

So a well-endowed man not wanting to hurt his partner may want to use a position that lets him thrust but not get too deep.

Ask a woman about what a Pap test feels like, then write your story accordingly.

I worry about your nurse!

Even before the switch from swabs to ultra-soft brushes a decade or two ago, they managed to be way more gentle than the thrust of a cock!

Inserting a IUD is more in the ballpark of a careless cock IME, though I know some women find that a very painful experience.

This. Big dicks don't enter the cervix (they do sometimes ram into it), they slide behind it.

Cervical biopsy is kind of on par.

I've literally glued my own finger back together after slicing a good 1" deep gouge straight down the side of my thumbnail (fully through the flesh) with barely a wince, but the cervical biopsy had me in tears and I couldn't sit for a few hours after. I hovered on the car ride home. (I later found out numbing gel was available, I just wasn't offered that as "it doesn't hurt that much, just a little uncomfortable" the fucking liar. The two ibuprofen I was told to take two hours before the procedure did fuck all for the pain.

For the guys: Imagine, if you will, the narrow, pointy - but not sharp - end of a stiletto wedged tightly up against your taint, to the point it feels like penetration of the skin is imminent. But then it pushes deeper and it still doesn't puncture. You find yourself wishing it would simply penetrate to give some relief to the pressure and pain of having so much force concentrated on such a small area of skin. But it can't penetrate, it's not sharp, just a blunted blow against already bruised skin. Then it pulls back, and you breathe, only for it to ram fully back in without warning. No penetration, just bruising force against a small spot that proves highly resistant to being punctured, but also seems to hold a shit ton of unnecessary nerve bundles that have a greater capacity of transmitting pain signals than those of pleasure.

That's kinda what a cervical biopsy feels like, and that's comparable to cervical contact in my experience. (Fun aside - both can cause bleeding!)

Pressing near the cervix, or pressing below and towards it, can feel good, like a jolting bit of electricity straight to the navel and toes. Most guys are, thankfully, not big enough to do more than put pressure well below the cervix. Most women who move to deepen penetration are doing so to get the sensation *near* the cervix but not directly on it. Some women may actually enjoy it and I don't know if they feel pain or if those nerve endings are more wired for pleasure than pain for them. I know that I like pain a lot, but repeated forceful cervical contact with a dick playing the role of battering ram is a bit much even for me.

How little do they have to be?

From my understanding of the physiology (research, you know), think in terms of somebody trying to push something into the urethra exit of your penis. It's not an expanding opening.
