Question about ball odor

OK, another ball question from Shale. If you've read any of my erotic pieces you'll know that I am into body odors.

While I know the source of these odors, usually a specialized sweat called apocrine, I have noticed an anomaly.

scrotal and labial skin has a lot of apocrine glands and are supposed to have a peculiar odor, akin to underarm odor. My balls have a little odor which you have to be in close proximity to appreciate.

Here's the anomaly. When I take a hot shower, my balls radiate an odor. The apocrine has been washed off, but they have an odor, identifiable as a crotch odor. My only explanation is that the heat causes overreaction of the glands on the scrotum.

My question: have other guys experienced a more pronounced ball odor AFTER a hot shower?

Many smells can be magnified in the shower since you a in a heated environment with a lot of air currents. The chemicals that cause the odors can spread to you nose more quickly that way, making the smell seem stronger. A scientists point of view.

Dude, all that i can tell you is that i can't really smell myself because of bad sinus problems, when i take a hot shower, it gets to a point that feels that i'm sweating. So, i think it only makes sense what you are describing. And while i'm not 100% sure what happens with your glans when u take a hot shower, you gotta remember that ur pores open themselves up and that would allow for a more intense sweating/gland activity hence increasing the smell you talk about. Again, i'm not sure about it, but it's what logic tells me...

I think the answer lies...

... In your nose and not your crotch. Your sense of smell is enhanced by water, and because of the shower your nose is full of it. It's all something to do with the scent particles being trapped in the water and delivered to the olfactory sensors more effectively.

This is one you can try at home folks! Try smelling a few things around the place, wash out your nose with a little bottled water (no chlorine) on your fingers, and see how things change.
