question about audio stories

Hello!

I'm not sure if this is the right place for this question?

I submitted a piece as an audio story. I emailed it as the website instructed. But, I have no idea if the story is pending, or was not accepted. It's different than submitting a written story, where you can see on your page that the story is pending. I've never submitted an audio story before, so I'm not sure how it works. Does it just show up eventually? Does it take the same amount of time to post as a regular story does? Are you notified that the email containing the submission was accepted?

If anyone has information for me, it would be greatly appreciated.

audio stories take longer than other stories. They hang around for a little while then Laurel does a batch all together on one day.

Submitting the audio file by email doesn't work. Submit it via the website link, that works. If you have been waiting a long time, PM Laurel (don't email, that doesn't work, LOL). She's very good about replying to PMs and not a bit huffy about it. I once submitted an audio file by email and after weeks when I asked about it, she said she was doing a batch and if I could get the audio file up on the weblink that day she would include it. And that is what she did.

Welcome here! As TXRad says, don't leave your feet hanging over the edge of the boat. Don't post in Loving Wives without borrowing his sharkproof suit! Don't play with the trolls, although having said that they are very hard to spot as they often behave real nice in here then suddenly bite your toes (oooh! tee hee hee, just a little nibble then).

Have fun . There are a lot of word games, and you can get answers to serious questions and there is a lot of flirting.
