Pyrrhic Victory

Sour grapes at it's finest.

Murica won. The Tea Party Lost. Better luck next smear! :)

So Republicans can only win if they become more extreme and more alienated from America.

VETTE

More evidence that the GOP joined Obama to feudalize America. Its Al Capone and Bugsy Moran dividing Chicago between themselves.

Let the chips fall where they may. I have railed against RINOs and the French Republicans all along. The soul of the Republican Party is being wrenched from the hands of the establishment as we speak.

Let's hope so. :)

Here's some primo cheese to go along with that most excellent white whine of yours, Vette.

The GOP will end up with nuthin.

Let's count the wars the GOP is winning.

Race war...losing. Romney's 17% of African-American vote proves that.

War on women...losing. Again Romney's 44% of women voters proved that.

Hmm none so far. Well maybe it's because they're all RINOs like vette claims. I bet the Tea Party polls really well! Oh guess not. You'll notice more oppose than support and those claiming affiliation have dropped by nearly half.

Hell everyone thinks Ted Cruz is an asshole, even the super right wing National Review!

House insiders say a handful of House Republicans cursed Cruz in the cloakroom on Wednesday, and a leadership source says angry e-mails were exchanged among GOP staffers who consider Cruz to be a charlatan. "Cruz keeps raising conservatives' hopes, and then, when we give him what he wants, he doesn't have a plan to follow through," an aide fumes. "He's an amateur." Another aide says, "Nancy Pelosi is more well-liked around here."

Harsh stuff for the GOP's current savior.

Vetty's been promoting that canard for years.

And now he's found his confirmation bias: Teh Republican establishment must kowtow to the fringe minority who are unable or unwilling to compromise, because THEIR cause is "just".

And what will the Democrats end up with? What will the country end up with?

Back in 1859 my ancestor wrote that the insane philanthropists in the government would eventually succeed in destroying both industry and crime because entrepreneurs would cease to produce, and thieves would have nothing worth stealing. This is where we are.

. . . the beginning of the end of the Progressive project to “fundamentally transform” the United States of America.

It is to laugh.

Here's a free editing tip, Walsh: You don't put quote-tags around a phrase (and notion) of your own coinage and nobody else's. Oh, and "Progressive" should not be capitalized unless it is the name of a specific organization rather than a political tendency.

If not him his campaign organization.

Don't recall that from any campaign ads. "We're going to fundamentally change this country!" is perhaps something an Obama campaign volunteer or supporter might have said at some time -- just as "We're gonna get that damned nigger out of the White House!" or "We're gonna drive all those damned Meskins out of this country!" is something a Romney supporter might have said at some time, but it reflects nothing on the candidate.

It's one of those things Obama never said but it's "close enough" to Change we can believe in, we are the ones we've been waiting for and today the seas stop rising that it's kinda pointless to argue with the meat heads who want to bash Obama with it.
