I do a fair amount of pony play Myself and enjoy using the bit bridle..pony butt plug crop and buggy whip to train My beasts. Pony hooves are in the budget for this year and possibly some blinders as well.
Fortunately I will have access to a very nice out-door forested area for pony play this spring and summer.

What degree of sexuality is present in puppy/pony play? Does ppp revolve completely around control of their behavior and actions, or is there ever actual sex play involved? If the latter, what issues of bestiality does this invoke in both the dominant's and submissive's mind? I personally find it difficult to imagine a dominant remaining so while being fucked by their "puppy," but I wonder about the "animal" being played with, bred by others (if the dominant has a litter of puppies, or a stable), or other such activities.

I guess I'm just curious; from my readings, I've gotten the impression that a good puppy is one that does not falter in its behavior once the game is begun, and is as convincing to both partners as it's possible for a human to be. In other words, for all purposes, they ARE a puppy. If this is the case, I can't help but think there must be SOME question in the dominant's mind of "wow, I'm playing with an animal." I would say its pretty much about what the Dominant feels like doing at the moment and your willingness to do whats expected w/out question.Im not a dominant but my thought is its not about them thinking they are playing with a puppy, more that they have enough control to make that happen. To me there is nothing wrong with a *pet* being treated like a pet, although i have found the command to bark or whiney one where i have had to swallow hard and take a deep breath before doing(get the picture? hehe) It can actually be very fun...and i prefer to be the white fluffy kitty cat on someones lap *bats lashes* purrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrs and swishes tail.

Absolutely no sexual connotations for Me or anyone I know that does puppy play. It is all about obedience and entertainment with a healthy dose of humiliation.
A good puppy is actually very adorable.

but puppy play? Bark? no talking? eat from a dog dish? I would do it if commanded to...but I just don't think it's ever something I could enjoy or be very good at. (This is NOT a thread I will tell Sir about!)
