Awwww. I bet they'll be so happy there!

We got a puppy last month, a nine week-old german shepherd. Unfortunately he came to use having already contracted parvo virus, and we put him to sleep a few days later. My youngest boy spent the next week asking "where's cat?" because he thought the little black thing was a cat. One day we'll do it again.

Wishing all you and your pups well. :rose:

We had a husky pup come down with distemper (so I was told) and he died in the wee hours on Thanksgiving day, 1961. My father and grandpa spirited the body away before I got up in the morning. It was not a happy Thanksgiving for me.

To puppies, young and old, present or gone.....humanity's best friend.

Yup.

My father would never say what happened to the pup. Later, after many years, my grandpa admitted that the carcass was taken to the dump.

He's in the backyard and his red-brick gravestone arrived just the other week. Digging that far down in the frozen earth was not easy, but he'll always be able to watch over us now.

You'll never be able to leave that house......
