I want to look rules for various categories, but cannot find them. I know many like the rules for underage sexual activity overall. And the rule that the victim in a non-consent story must at least get aroused from the activity. But there are several categories with stories that I cannot fathom being allowed on a public forum. Not without the potential for a major lawsuit at least.

As far as litigation, 1st Amendment has broad powers and Lit isn't really pushing the envelope like many other sites. (though, the "slip throughs" constantly argued over can be pretty rough. Usually story reporting handles the submission misses.)

Most of the really violating content isn't by accident. It reads what it is, attempts at getting around the prohibitions. Wouldn't worry too much about accidentally crossing any lines if you've familiarized yourself with the content guidelines and, if you are rejected in submission review, you adjust appropriately rather than look for clever ways to still get around the guidelines.

Those are the only two rules I know (besides a decent standard of spelling and grammar). I've never run into any problems with my stories (17 published, another 21 that I published and then pulled).

The rules are not category-specific here. They are just the rules. And it doesn't mean rape victims must be aroused or enjoy the abuse but must get something out of it. Revenge qualifies as long as you're not trying to eroticise the rape.

Okay. I'll be more specific. I am talking about possible lebelous vs slanderous entries. Particularly in the Celebrity sections. People in the public domain are generally exposed to all kinds of abuse.... BUT.

Can I write a story where Kamala Harris is buttfucking Trump while he is tied over an ottoman while yelling "Alright, you cracker asshole. Let's see how your MAGA people like seeing this! I told you to drop out of the race!"
And off to the side, Biden, on his knees blowing Obama, pauses for a second to say, "Thanks again for your endorsement, Boss!" Obama says "Joe, I told before, I am just helping the party! I got you elected the first time and between me and Kamala over there, we'll do it again. Get your mouth back on my cock. You just have to remember, Jill better lick Michelle's pussy really good or your blonde wife is gonna get the shit slapped outta her!"

Seems to me that some of this would be over the top. Not even first amendment is going to cover that.

Also in the celebrity section are stories using real people and their backgrounds/careers in completely disingenuous situations. How about portraying Martha Stewart as an ex-crackwhore madam with stable of whores consisting of celebrities? (continued next)

Who would be filing the major lawsuit and what would the grounds be?
I'm genuinely curious.

I can see MAYBE a cease and desist letter for some some of the fanfic stuff but what else could someone actually sue over?

As for the political stuff you mentioned, that would be covered under the 1st Amendment and legal as parody. Actual real production companies have made porn flicks parodying politicians.

Now I can see characters in stories and movies used. Harry Potter bent over and getting sodomized by a wand is one thing. But to name Daniel Radcliffe as the recipient is something else entirely.
I know some authors are simply lazy. They have a 'vision' of a character in their stories but to use the person's real name and history is a bit too far.

To some degree. Ask Kathy Griffin how it worked for her.

Actually, legally in the states you'd be on firmer ground using Radcliffe than HP.

Not sure. Libel? or would it be slander? That is my question. Writing a story about an actress using her real name, and personal details saying she was slut and describing fake activities.

I can see it now, Snap ass fucking Harry, face down, ass up, Snap whisper, who's got the fucking, powerful magic now, pussy-boi?

Actually, there have been several Harry Potter stories of that nature that have popped up.
Yes, I know. I just wanted to paint that picture. I'll put my crayons up now. They're the Crayola brand. They taste scrumptious, but a little waxy, and my husband tells me not to eat them. But they taste so yummy.

I am not talking about thinking about a celebrity as you write a story. Imagining Martha Stewart and Julia Child while you write about French cuisine in your story is one thing, but to use their real names, resumes etc in a tawdry story is NOT, in my opinion, 'kosher'. Especially when you have them licking each other after the day's television show. Using this as an example of going too far.
I wonder where a celebrity's rights stop. Or anybody's? Or is it a free for all?

I don't think Literotica allows stories featuring politics and politicians...I was going to have my MC in a threesome with Jacinta Price and Lidia Thorpe, and then noticed this in the publishing FAQ. It's a pity...your idea sounds really wild! I would like to read that!

I could see the secret service knocking on my door, or my IRS filings for the past 7 years getting audited.

To that end, we DO NOT publish works of any type featuring the following content:

Works that promote or focus heavily on politics or religion, or political or religious figures. Lit readers are bombarded with political disputes on other platforms and they prefer to avoid these types of divisive issues in their erotica.

Thank you. I could not find it.
I'm still not sure why you cannot put Trump in a fake story that makes him look like a pervert but you can Margot Robbie, but it is what it is.

On an erotica site all rape is eroticized its the nature of the platform and genre.

And can you explain how if a woman is raped for revenge...they get something out of that?

I think you need to wipe the shit off your nose and stop litsplaining what is 'acceptable rape'

I think the 'men' here have brought you down to their level. (I was going to say rubbed off on you, but realized where that would go on our current edition of "AH by sixth graders")

I mean, she gets revenge.

Libel is written, slander spoken. In both cases the victim must prove you intended to defame them - you intended to lie and to make people believe that lie, to cause them harm. So they have to prove you did not intend it as parody, and did not think you were telling the truth.
This is if they sue you. Literotica policy is another matter.
