I just got back from a 10 day trip to HI. I went with a man I met the 1st of July. He paid for everything and gave me some spending money. I'm a Jr. at an eastern US university. I never could have aforded to pay for the trip myself. Sedx wasn't in the equation. As it turned out we did have sex, often, after the 2nd night. That's the only way I could repay him. He's 52, retired and married. We do not have plans to get together now that we're back but I expect we will. He's talking about another trip. My sister says I just turned into a hooker, trading sex for expence paid trips. I'm not sure I agree since it wasn't planned from the begining. What do you think?

he's married taking a college girl on vacations, and you didn't think there was going to be sex.........hmmmmmmmmm your sister is right, wouldn't your parents be proud..............

Well I'm going over to Amsterdam...

...next Monday...:)

You're naive. Don't worry, I am too.
Did you enjoy the sex at least?
As for being a whore, nope, don't think so. Just don't do it again and there's no reason to question your morality.

Questions

In situations like this, there are a lot of things to look at. First, would you have gone to bed with him without the vacation? Is he someone that you really like? Do you consider that having sex was payment for the vacation? Did he?

It seems to me that there is not nessarily a quid pro quo here. You did not offer your body in exchange for his cash. You both wanted to spend the time together, and his ability to pay for it made it possible. If you had been able to pay your own way, would you have gone with him? If so, I think that you have done nothing to be ashamed of.

The other side of the question is What were his expections? Did he think that he was buying your body this way? Or was he givng the two of you the oppertunity to be together, and what ever happened, happened?

The real difficulty is that with money being the way we keep score in this society, that it clouds all of our relationships, and makes the siple act of giving a gift to a friend suspect.

Sex...

...is a consensual experience between adults. Prostitution is a label often assigned by people who think there is a check list for when it is okay to have sex and when it is not okay to have sex. The woman who lies back and thinks of England so her husband can get his rocks off isn't really having consensual sex--she's having sex as part of her "contribution" to the relationship. Hmmm...guess that makes him the prostitute since she's "paying".

Oh well, morality always confused me anyway. If you choose to have sex and your partner chooses to have sex and you enjoy having sex then it's your business and nobody else's. Sex is something we do for pleasure. Guilt is something others use to remove that pleasure.

Thank you to some of you for your thoughts. You know who you are. The rest of you can fuck off! You know who you are too.

Exactly what sort of replies were you expecting?

I don't know what a University junior is but I presume it means you are over the age of consent.

If you're over the age of consent what's your beef?

That your sister reckons you're a prostitute?

Can't you work it out for yourself whether you are or not?

Why do you want a consensus of opinion?

If most people here said you were, would that satisfy you?

If most people here said you weren't would that satisfy you as well?

What was the purpose of the thread?

:p :p :p

Validation one would assume.

Face it. If you fucked the guy because he paid for you to go on vacation you may not be a prostitute, but I'm quite sure his wife would have a few choice names to call you.
