Now this is rather a medical question.
I'm only 20 and have recently have had a blood analyses that has showed that my prostate vallues are slightly too high. Could this be because of to much sexual activety? I know that the prostate is an organ that grows an entire life, and that becomming to big, it starts pushin on the bladder, whish makes problems an it has to be destroyed and removed. But I never heard that to much sex could accelerate this prosess.
Anyone knowing anything???

Try doing a search on the internet, maybe google.com, for info on the prostate gland. I highly doubt that a risk factor would be having too much sex!

I do know that the problem tends to run in families. If your dad or grandfather had problems, you're more likely to also. My grandfather, father and brother all had or have prostate problems.

don't ignore high PSA

This is not to scare you but to caution you. PSA levels can be elevated for a number of reasons, but I am not aware of sexual activity being a factor. Prostate cancer and benign prostate disease are possibilities, but it is IMPORTANT to maintain communication with your medical professional and I would see a urologist if you have not. Do not spend time and money with a general practioner if you truly have an elevated PSA. A urologist can help you diagnose and treat any problems if necessary. Prostate cancer is predominantly found in older males, but is not unheard of at earlier ages. I have learned a lot about prostate cancer as my father was diagnosed September 1995. He is still here (Thank God) and healthy overall. Being over cautious cannot hurt, but ignoring any symptoms can.

The suggestion to search the web and get information is a good one. Also it is true that family heredity plays a role, with prostate, so talk with your male relatives to see if there is a family issue. If you feel comfortable let us know what you learn.

You are very young for a high PSA. The prostate contributes about 30% of the seminal fluid you ejaculate every time you have an orgasm. Frequent orgasms are not a factor in either prostate cancer or prostatic hyperplasia (enlarged prostate), so not to worry. Yes, do keep communication with your physicain going and the next PSA test will probably be normal. Prostate infections are not uncommon and can be treated with antibiotics.

I have averaged an orgasm a day for 30 years and my PSA is zero. Enjoy sex and visit your doctor regularly. Good luck.

Well, thanks to all off you who replied!
Actually I don't know of any problems in my family, and it is not as wors as might have wrongly sounded.
I hyve a value of 1.1 where the problems start at 1.75.
It's just slightly higher, so don't worry.
So thanks again.
