Just as long as the fear of bacteria doesn't keep you from giving up your virginity when you want to, I guess it is okay to try to rationalize why you are putting it off.

If a doctor feels it is safe enough to put a finger in when you are not turned on and open then having your own finger up there with lube when you are hot and horny and loose will also be safe. There is a large "lump" inside the scrotum, behind and between the testicles. Try gently massaging it. My husband *really* likes it.
