I have a novel-length May/September romance that has love scenes but maybe not spicy enough to be considered erotic. My question is whether I should post it in Novels and Novellas anyway, or can I post it as a novel in the Romance or Age Gap section? Thanks!

Anything novel length, no problem in N/N. Should be no problem in Romance neither. Lots of stuff there has lower smut ratio. It's all about the angelic characters' journey to and reward with perfect happiness. Likely be all right in Mature too, although I'm less familiar with that category.

May/September would run well in Mature. The readers there are welcoming, have a higher rate of commentary than many other categories. Romance would be the other choice - I'd go Mature myself, but only because I've had stories run very well in the category (older man, younger woman).

Of those Mature will net you by far the most views. I don't think lack of spice matters too much in that category, stories of two initially dissimilar people coming together and finding common ground seem to do very well there. In contrast, the Novel category tends to be very low views although often fairly gentle on writers.

I'd go with Mature, Romance, N/N in that order. N/N has lower views, generally. If it has a happy ending, romance fits fine, but since it's May/September I'd aim at Mature.
