Hi, everyone! I've sent inquiries to three different volunteer editors about proofreading a story I wrote for content as well as spelling, grammar, etc. over the past two weeks. I have not heard back from any of them. Is this a common problem? What should I do? Thanks! kat

Many of the volunteer editors use secondary e-mail accounts for their contact address, and either don't check them very often, or the services are unreliable. Literotica.org addresses are notorious for sometimes holding a message for up to a week before delivering them. That's not unique to Literotica mail because all of the free e-mail services served by bigmailbox.com(?) have the same problem as do other free e-mail services.
I have about four stories committed right now, or I would volunteer to handle yours. If you can stand waiting for a month or so to get your story back, I'll add it to the queue.

If you writer types contact an editor and they do not respond in a reasonable time frame, PLEASE email me with the editor's name. I will then write the editor a friendly email to make sure he or she is still involved. If I get no response at that point, I will remove the name from the list.
I try to go through the list and email random editors every couple weeks or so, but I can't catch em all so any help is very much appreciated.
As we speak, we're working on integrating the editors list with the rest of the site. The process should be complete by the end of summer at the very, very latest. When it's all set up, it's gonna rock!
