As an occasional poster and lurker here, I notice a kind of loyalty that regular posters have about reading each other's work. Tatelou started a thread called "The Author above you" which was very interesting and it got me wondering if there are non A/H author's stories that people read. I'm particularly interested to know who you enjoy, aside from regular posters in the A/H and I hope that some of the lurkers and readers will respond as well.

Here's some from me:

Libidinal - writes the most intensely graphic sex scenes and the best bi sexual stories I've ever read. He doesn't focus on plot at all but somehow he draws you right into every scene he writes with his incredible ability and talent.

Stardog Champion - An enviable list of stories with plenty of Red H's and Editor's choice symbols. - Usually complex but very sexy stories about everyday ordinary people.

Artisticbiguy - Writes gay male stories but does so exquisitely without them being stereotypical or iffy. He also always includes stunning characterisation and emotion.

Singularity - Outstanding writer in the BDSM genre. I loved his exhibitionist/voyeur pool side story as well which had the 'control' elements in it but had all the titilation and tease of the very best exhibitionism story.

Catbabe - Only a couple of submissions but well written and original storylines.

Steve w - I really enjoy his more recent work which spans the anal, erotic couplings and non erotic categories. 'Silent Dancing' was simply the most evocative and thought provoking story I've read in a long time.

Edited to include Sweetsubsarahh, whose stories also deserve a special mention. I always enjoy her work which is well written and sizzlingly hot. She also has a delicious penchant for anal. I'll say no more...

Well, that's my start to this list which promotes other authors. Looking forward to seeing other replies.

I have a problem with this. I tend to read stories by those people who contribute to the AH.

But the majority of Lit authors do not post in the AH.

I don't read enough stories by people I like and admire. If I were to start looking further I would be swamped by potential reads.

Seduced2cheat: Great stuff covering several cats. Very imaginitive and fun.

Britster: Very intense and introspective works. Always on my must read list.

Cre8tivebliss: Fine writer of lesbian stories. Always a pleasure to rad.

Patricia51: Another of my favorites.

I'll second the plug for stardog, he rocks.

My sleeper choice is thrillerauthor. I don't read much from the ts/tv category, but was asked to look at one of his called Hobson's choice by another author and have to say, he handles intricate plotlines deftly and with pnash.

Colly thanks for reminding me of cre8tivebliss. I had forgotten about her and haven't checked out her recent stuff. She does write very good lesbian stories.

Another author has also come to mind, called Coolville. He wrote the funniest satire story I've read called 'Get into my shorts' and I read a few more of his from other categories only to discover what great talent he has.

Bob Clark Jr.

The rest are mostly regs here. ;-)

Lots of good tips here Green Gem, thanks for the thread, I usually try to read the new stories posted not for any particular author, but to see what others are writing.

I second the recommendations for both:

steve w - A nice guy, who writes some hard-ass stuff--at least in his early work.

and

Stardog Champion - He probably doesn't remember, but he's the person who originally introduced me to Literotica a year or two ago. His stories brought me here. He's an excellent and very prolific writer.

I've also enjoyed stories by:

MsLinnet - Crazy, wild stuff that appeals to me greatly. And I say that in the least creepy way that I can...

There are others I'm surely forgetting...

Well I'm kinda scared to list my favorites but here we go.

LeasaJ: Nice first time hardcore interracal stuff. Some ppl may find her work abit degrading or offense.

TryAnything: Nice stuff very long. Alotta Incest stuff.

chezshirecat: Great storys mostly interracal stuff. The Casting Couch series was great and done completely without feedback.

Stormbringer: Very hardcore Interracal stuff, most of his storys follow a strange plot that I find funny as hell. Some ppl may find her work abit degrading or offense.

Barb36D: I just discovered her, nice work. Nothing seems off limits, she writes storys in almost every category.

You're welcome.

You were actually the first author I ever read coming to this site and have inspired many of my stories, so thank you!

I do post but I must admit I haven’t done a lot for some time as I found my work was interrupting my social life I will try harder by giving up work

mismused: writes some sweet loving lesbian tales, one of the few writers that can compell me to read a full 5 page or longer literotica story without losing interest.

A plug for a friend

What has happened to Chicklet she was one of the most prolific writers and her postings were always a good read, as well as having a body that was made for loving.

Un-Registered was never slow to comment, now where has he gone to? Probably stuck on the side of a welsh mountain with his pet sheep (Joke)

==========================

Thank you, Lying Eyes. That was very kind of you. Some of my own favorites of those we don't usually hear from include:

rgjohn - a fabulous writer of many genres

noebode - a newer author whose ability to write, and tantalize you with a magnificent way of breaking up her chapters.

Rose Faulkland - Anything she writes is beautiful

Patricia51 - is there a better short story writer anywhere? I don't think so.

Casey13 - beautiful writer, wish she wrote more.

Katherint-T - superb writer

aKaMarie - One of the most honest writers I've ever read. Please write more, Marie.

Brookell - has one of the best series in Conversations with Amy.

TawnyT - the original queen of lesbian stories.

There are many more that I haven't gotten to yet, but I hope to do so soon.

Oh, I lurk, but mostly in disguise. I was persecuted on here by a troll who somehow acquired moderator status (but {s}he seems to have vanished) so I changed my appearance.

Oh, and kindly leave Gwladys out of your comments in future.
