Well, it is a weekend and there is only one person, maybe two, yet Manu is probably busy with all the complaints about the new BB system, so Laurel is left to vet/post new stories, approve a multitude of Avatars, etc.

And Buck, on the old system, you were required to have 100 posts in the forums before you could even post an avatar, let alone see where to do that. I don't know if that's still a rule with the new system, but I would bet, it just might be, so expect it to take awhile to be moderated.

I get that, but why implement a rule that will do nothing but piss people off?
If there's no manpower capacity to moderate avatars, surely better to either say do, or remove that requirement until it's doable. I know you had to wait till 100 posts previously. I'm nearly at 1000 and still can't get one

I posted a new profile photo, but it's not showing up. Since this site is a no-pay, I guess we really have nothing to complain about. But it would be nice if they would at least tell us how long it should take to upload. I also have 2 artworks pending for 6 months. I'd happily contribute if it would speed things up.

I tried to change mine and waited over a week for the change to show up. I then submitted a different image and that one came quickly. The current one is the new one.
