Under a different user name I changed my address to a literotica email instead of hotmail. When I came back to the boards I was still registered but I could not post or due most anything but read.

Also, I changed my email notification to none but notifications are still being sent to my email address.

I would appreciate any insite to these problems thanks.

I have read of others who couldn't use their usernames until the responded to a verification e-mail sent to the e-mail address given when they registered or changed their registration. I didn't have that problem when I changed my e-mail, but I probably responded to the verification without really thinking about it -- I don't remember even getting one and don't save my e-mails.

The e-mail notification problem is easy to fix, if a pbit time consuming.

When you change the "e-mail notification by default" setting, it does NOT erase the e-mail notification flag on existing messages. You have to go back to each message and edit your post to uncheck the e-mail notification box.

Underneath each of your posts is a "search" button that displays each of your posts in reverse-chronological order. Open each post, click the edit button at the lower right, clear the e-mail notifiction box, and save the changes.

You probably won't have to go back more than a week except for the "neverending threads" because you won't get notifications on dead threads.

I may have received a verification notice the first time on my old user name but I did not write it down. I requested it to be resent to me numerous times but it never received a response. I sent emails to the Laurel and Manu with no response.
