The new version of Firefox installed on my laptop. It stated it was faster than the old one. So far, the only thing that is faster is the not responding message. It takes forever to load anything and buffers like an old dial up modem. Am I the only person having trouble with this?

The new Firefox has definitely shit the bed.

Half my add-ons are permanently disabled, and greasemonkey scripts no longer work. Since my Literotica Nuclear Ignore script is disabled, I once again am forced to scroll past people who insist on quoting Little Shit-squeak.

It is working fine for me so far. Okay, of course I do not have the stuff that Mr. Fancy Pants does as add ons.... :D

Check your addons. Mine was doing that and I found one of my addons was the culprit. Start it in safe mode to see if it's that.

Was installed at work... not particularly having problems. Although it lost/relocated my banking bookmark and I had to put it up on the menu bar for ease. I don't particularly like the look of it. It hasn't been foisted upon me on my laptop yet.

I have a hunch I'll be grumbling.

It just installed automatically for me 1 minute ago.

So far it is much faster. no downside yet, but obviously haven't had time to try out everything.

Threw my bookmarks off as well.

The things I dislike most about it so far are that the Element Hiding Helper for AdBluckPlus doesn't work anymore*, and neither does DownThemAll, so now I have to save each individual file I want to keep one by one.

*Sort of, at least. Instead of the way it used to work, where you could just click on the thing you wanted to hide and it would create a blocking rule for you, you now have to manually type an expression instead to create a rule. I know nothing about writing expressions and the tutorial on it is too far over my head. It's a huge pain in the ass for no reason.

Try Ublock.

No. It kicks ass and the Android beta version is also the beesknees.

New Firefox is working well for me.
It took a few minutes to figure out where everything is and how to move it about.
Seamless operation so far. Speed? maybe a nanosecond faster, barely noticeable.

I browse with Opera and Mozilla Seamonkey. Small-user-base browsers don't seem to attract so many hackers. Opera has a built-in VPN so I appear to be in Crimea. That's okay except that google results display in Cyrillic.
