problems with lit?

I think I'm having problems with PM section here, and I know Snowbunnie was having problems uploading pictures. Right now when I click on Snowbunnie's name, it says she isn't registered or have a user profile. And I don't seem to be getting any private messages.

Could someone drop me a pm, just so I can see if it's working?

I do think there are problems with the site right now. Sometimes when I click a search, it tells me to click again in 30 seconds because I've done it too quickly, but I just clicked the one. anyone else experiencing problems of any kind?

I haven’t been able to update my profile for over a year. There is a comment in the support about it saying that it will improve with updates but when I click on update profile I get sent to the change email/password page. No response and no idea if it will ever get fixed.

I have been having the same issue. There doesn't seem to be any solution to the problem.

The "Edit Profile" function has been dysfunctional for several years. If you take a look at discussions about this issue over on the tech support threads, you'll see that no one seems to have any intention of fixing it.

The search functions don't work either, and haven't for a long time. I don't know what's up with that.

Which part of the search is allegedly inoperative? The search functions work fine for me. I use them on a regular, if not daily, basis.

Yes, the "Edit Profile" function has been down for a very long time but, as a work around, you can edit your "Signature" to include items you might have wanted to add or change in your profile.

Well, make a liar out of me. I've attempted to use the Search many times over the last few years, and it would always either just hang, or else give me the message cited above. Eventually I gave up on it. So I attempted to use it again just now, to give you a concrete example— and it worked fine. Go figure....
