Problems With Lesbian Sex

I've been with another woman for awhile, and while she isn't the first lover to do this to me, she's definitely the one who does it the most often. For some reason, almost every time she puts her fingers inside of me, I start bleeding. Not bleeding as in fingernail-cut type things, but bleeding as in menstruation-type bleeding. It doesn't actually start my period or I would have seen someone about about this long ago, but I'll bleed for about two hours after having sex. The sex is -great-, or I'd ask her to stop, but... Has anyone ever had a similar problem, or have any idea what could cause this?

It could be a number of things, some of them very serious. Therefore, you need to talk to your gynecologist about this. Before you go, try to narrow down the source/cause of the bleeding by using additional lube and seeing if she's touching your cervix. Does it happen when YOU try to replicate her motion with a dildo/other insertable?

BTW, it's not a lesbian problem at all; this would happen whether your partner had a pussy or a cock.

If we used any additional lube, I'm pretty sure I wouldn't be able to feel it at all; I come pretty well lubricated. I know for a fact that she is touching my cervix. No, it doesn't happen to her whenever I do anything to her, and I've been thorough enough in my explorations of her pussy that if it were going to happen, it would.

It's happened with a couple other partners, but never with this frequency. She can set me off a couple times a day. I really don't understand it.

you are trying to find an easy short term exit from the problem,

what possible harm is there in seeing the doctor? [except the fees of course]
like Erica said....

better safe than late,
prevention is better than cure.

My good wishes for your problem gets solved soon.

The problem with that, good sir, is my current lack of insurance and current lack of cash to -see- a gynecologist. If the only thing I needed to see a gynecologist was myself, I'd walk the three blocks down to the women's hospital. I do understand the need, but it's just not feasible right now.

Call your local Planned Parenthood and free/low-cost clinic(s). They'll charge you what you can afford, or nothing at all.

I don't know how the system works in the US but is it possible you can see a GP for free? If he/she decides that you must see a gynaecologist then surely they'll be able to discuss options according to your circumstances?

It seems obvious to me that you can't continue like this. Excessive bleeding like this could be the sign of something serious. I don't want to be too alarmist but if this were happening to me, I would make getting it investigated a priority.

There could be several reasons why you bleed - the first and foremost is that while you don't feel any pain, she could still be too rough with you, as in your inner vaginal walls are sensitive and susceptible to damage. It's a little like those who have frequent nose-bleeds. You look at their noses or they touch it, they gush blood, and will claim that they feel no pain whatsoever. Their inner nose walls and the veins within are thin and can 'burst' anytime.

I don't want to be an alarmist, nor frighten you, but bleeding after/during sex, especially as you describe it, could be indicative of polyps (both cervical and uterine, the former could be easily removed), certain types of benign tumours, and/or STIs (including chlamydia, gonorrhea and trichomoniasis). I don't want to scare you nor can anyone of us can make a diagnosis online, but if this has happened more than once or twice, as you have mentioned, then it is most certainly not normal. Please try to see a doctor, preferably a gynaecologist, who can rule out any of the above mentioned. As SweetErika mentioned, you could try Planned Parenthood and low cost clinics. Also, certain universities, especially those who are med schools, has clinics that are opened to the public at low costs (although, there is a strong possibility that there will be med students).

Good luck. :rose:

ask the doc to look at your cervix

i just had mine frozen
it was always inflammed and with every little touch i would bleed

right now I am at week two of recovery, not anything major, but you cannot have anything inside you vagina for up to 2 -4 weeks

please, go to the doc the day after you have sex, it will help them see the cervix better, and make sure they also use the microscope to get a better look

if my doc did that the first time, it would of been better in december

any other questions just ask

This has happened to me in the past, with a man who was particularly well endowed. I would bleed slightly almost every time we had sex, enough to worry me so that I went to a doctor.

Turns out my cervix was inflamed (no STI's he took a swab to make sure), gave me a script for antibiotics and told me to avoid using tampons for a couple of months. I haven't had a problem since :)

Hi lizkitten, I have the same problem, although with my boyfriend not another woman. It happens both during piv sex and when he fingers me as well. It has been happening to me now for about a year and i always just assumed that because of the birth control i was on i bled a bit anyway all the time (spotting) and more right after sex because my cervix had been disturbed and just allowed more blood to leak out at that time. Although this isnt normal my obgyn didnt seem concerned about it at the time but i am not sure if this would translate to you because i am assuming you arent on any hormonal birth control. I seem to bleed like you for about 2 to 3 hours afterwards and much more so if i have had an orgasm during our playtime. i too urge you to get checked out and i know i really should too because this has been going on for far too long and what fire breeze said about cysts makes me worried that something is very wrong. I don't have insurance either but i'm going to do it anyway - health is far too important to put off seeing someone about this.

It was like that here in the UK 60 years ago before the NHS. People died from thing that would have required minor treatment if caught early enough, because they couldn't afford medical treatment. Personally I feel she should do anything she can to seek medical advice, mysterious vaginal bleeding needs urgent investigation.

The US is supposedly a democracy, the electorate have chosen this system haven't they? Personally I'm glad not to have to choose between feeding my children and taking them to the doctor . . .

Yup...good 'ol USA!
We'll piss away trillions on a waste of time and human life war...
Thank you Mr Bush :(
spend untold millions by our lame ass "presidential candidates"( none of whom are worth a rats ass!All 3 suck)...
but God forbid we give health care to our own people :(

Socialist...

That's what those of us who think medical care should be universal get called. I work in a pharmacy and see the obsurd prices charged for medicines on a daily basis. I see people having to decide which medicine to buy because they dont have insurance. I also talk to insurance companies daily who will weasle out of paying for a medicine any way they can. I am fortunate to have insurance, although not thru my company. They do offer insurance but it is way overpriced and barely is enough to get you in a hospital if your lucky....

I *work* for one of those companies, and have no health insurance myself!

I am paying off a visit to Urgent Care on a six month plan, meanwhile I could really, really use another appointment for whatever is wrong with my sinuses but can't afford the additional cost = )

But, my birth control is free! = D

I'm not sure about the exact calculation but I believe that the amount spent so far on Iraq would pay for free healthcare for everyone for a long, long time. Actually the system in the UK (and in essence in many other countries) is a form of insurance. Those in employment pay National Insurance, a flat rate levy on income over a certain (fairly low) level which then pays for healthcare for all..

Personally it seems to be a mark of civilisation to care for the sick and old, sure you end up paying for a few worthless individuals along the way but all of us have parents and grandparents, aunts and uncles and so on who need looking after one way or another, not to mention children. Ultimately the economy benefits from having a healthy workforce as well.

Surely having the armed forces in the government sector is 'socialist' as well? Wouldn't true capitalism leave that to personal choice? I realise the current regime is founded on confiscating money from the populace and tranferring it to private business, much of which is owned by the administration, e.g Halliburton.
