Problems posting my pic

I had a picture posted on my profile, removed it for a while, and then went to post another picture. The new picture, however, is not displaying. What am I doing wrong? When I look at my options, the picture appears but it's not displaying on my profile. Any suggestions?

Thanks but, I'm not referring to the AV but the actual picture that displays with the profile. Like I mentioned, the first picture I posted showed up just fine. It's just when I removed it and later replaced it with another picture - the new picture won't display.

Still confused.

The size is probably too big. I forget what the size limit is, it's much larger than an AV, but by "normal" standards, not very large.
