I’m having problems using the attachment when trying to add a picture in my posting. When I click on the attachment link my computer just dings at me. And then at the bottom of my computer, where my tool bar is, a little icon appears with a green check mark. When I click on this icon it states "Pop-Ups were allowed". I thought that that my attachment problem could do with my pop-up blockers, but I believe that I have disabled them. I also can not use the additional smilies. When I click on the more button it also just dings at me also. Anyone have any ideas on what the problem could be? Or if I'm not disabling my pop-up blocker correctly.

please and thank you :)

If you're having trouble with a pop-up blocker, holding "control" while you click something will manually override it.

What pop-up blocker are you using? Is it reporting hat it has blocked something?

I suspect that you need to put Literotica in your "Trusted Sites" zone and make sure that java scripting is allowed for trusted sites. I know the mange attachments button is a java-script function and if you have scriptig turned off, it won't work.

Can you please tell me how to check if my java scritpting so that it is allowing for trusted sites and that it is turned on. I have IE. I believe that I have Lit on my "Trusted Sites" zone for pop-up's. When I go to "pop-up blockers settings" the allowed field has Lit's address.

thank you :)

thanks you hentiaperv. Holding down the control key and clicking on the attachment did open it up. :D

If holding the control key worked, then it's probably pop-up blocker problem. It's not doing what it says it's doing.

To check if Lit is in your trusted Zone for IE, check the bottom right of the status bar -- it should show a green check Icon nd/or the words "trusted sites."

If it doesn't, go to InterNet Options (Tools menu in IE) and click on the "security" tab. click on the trusted sites Icon and sites button to add *.literotica.* Then click on the Custom button to check what permissions your system allows for trusted sites -- scripting is bout three-quarters of the way down the scroll-bar.

I did go to InterNet Options and have added Lit as one of my trusted sites. I now have the word "Trusted sites" in the lower right corner with a green check mark. I also checked my scripting and looks like it is enabled. However I'm still getting a ding when clicking on the attachment link.

Could I have a setting somewhere in my Security System for blockers that I need to find and correct that setting? If I do where would it be? I have looked and can not find anything about popup blockers.

thank you

That all depends on what pop-up blocking progrm you're using -- I use Freesurfer MK II and it configures and works differently than "Pop-Up Blocker."

I can start and stop Freesurfer by right clicking on the Icon in the system tray or by double clicking on the icon to bring the whole program to the foreground. When I double click I can get to the "properties" and "Options" menus to change how strict the blocking is and set the "rules list" to allow specific sites to permit or deny pop-ups.

How your program handles those functions is probably in the help menu and double clicking (or right clicking) the icon in the system tray should give you access to the help menu and the controls to set its equivalent of my "rules list."

Thanks Weird Harold. :)

That worked. I went in found and then changed the setting for my pop-up blockers on my Security System.

thanks again :D
