Problem with my author support link.

I've just gotten my Amazon account set up and author page customized. I set up my custom link in Amazon Author and copied it after they gave me the link. I came here and tried to put in on my profile. It tells the link doesn't work and it won't add it. I've tested it several times, and believe it or not, it works. How do I contact someone about this?

From the FAQ:

Enter the following information, depending on which link you select:
Amazon: Enter your unique AuthorID (not your author name). It will look something like this “B001K7U5IE”.

I don't have an Amazon account, so I can't tell you where to find that information, but hopefully it is somewhere in your profile there, or else part of the link generated by Amazon.

No, I made the link have my name in it, and lit doesn't use those links. It's all my bad, and now I'm stuck with being unable to link to my account.

You could try entering B0F6VV7XKJ to see if that works. I don't know if that's your ID or not, but it seems to be a consistent part of the URL address. I presume the Lit side of things generates its own link based on the ID, since most of the other data associated with the account is editable.

Thanks, I'll give that a try.

Not such thing as an Amazon Author ID. There's account ID and then there's book ID. For example, I have an unlisted book with this ID : B0F3Y3W6D4. The link would look like
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0F3Y3W6D4

Directing people to your amazon author page will lead them to buy another one of your works to support you, not the one they read here (for obvious reasons, it what we post here was Amazon friendly then we wouldn't be here).

So currently, the support this author feature doesn't really have a way for you to get paid for the content you post here, and I'm not really interested in creating a patreon since I don't want to feel preassured to post on a schedule.
