Problem logging in

For months Literotica has had a quirk that when you are logged in and try to post in a thread - it appears that you are NOT logged in. For months I have resorted to viewing a different thread, and then returning to the thread in which I want to post. Very tedious!

Today I found that the easiest way to be able to post is just to view a previous page in the thread and then go to the last page.
Logged in!

I am sure others have found this, but it has taken me till today!!

I find refreshing the page works for me. I use Chrome and what works will probably depend on what browser you use.

Here's a post (linked to two others) with a bunch of info about the peculiarities of the Lit interface. I have a hypothesis that this problem making your logged in status visible is a trap for bots.

I agree, and find often find it frustrating...

I sense that the interface can be a bit slow to recognise that you are already logged in. The delay is only a second or two, but it's enough to make you think you're logged out.

Same expeience on Safari and DuckDuckGo (on Mac), but they share the same engine, so not necessarily significant.

I keep getting logged out, but no issue logging back in.

Keep in mind that years after they made all the upgrades you can't go more than a few posts without the "oops something went wrong" and have to refresh to post. This isn't a peculiarity as someone called it, this is tech being held together with silly putty and duct tape.

Is what it is and not the end of the world, but like most things here, avoidable and fixable with some effort.

I haven't had to log in for months, except when I changed browsers, then only once for the new one.
