can I change my Lit name? I know I can create a new one and just start submitting stories under that one, but can I switch my previously submitted work to my new name? If so, how?

(Since I'm already posting in this forum and I know Chicklet comes in here too) If I can't switch my old stories to my new name, can I still have credit for them in the survivor contest if I start a new score sheet under the new name?

I didn't put a lot of thought into the name because I was afraid I'd lose my nerve to submit and now I guess I've had enough of the magazine/hotel lobby jokes, plus I feel kind of unoriginal.

Okay, so, I see that you've already decided not to change it, but knowing that sometimes minds change again I'll let you know what I think = )

I believe that you can indeed have your stories switched to whatever new name you'd want, and I also believe that you could have every one of your posts changed to your new name, too. I've seen it happen...

If you switched all your stories to your new screen name, of course everything Survivor related would get to go towards you, but if you kept two names there aren't really any rules about it. We'd jump that bridge when we came to it but I don't think there'd be any problem. The only problem would be if a NewNikki came in and asked for your points and then two months later DarlingNikki was like "hey, what happened to my stories?" and Chicklet'd be like "uhm...whoops..."
