Private Messages

For some reason it shows that I have 1 Unread Message. When I click on the Private Messages link, it shows 0 messages in my inbox, yet shows a total of 3 messages while I only have two outbound messages. Is this some type of spam that was blocked?

Click out of Lit and then back in. That should clear it up.

Just chiming in to say I have the same issue. Next to private messages in the upper right corner, there is an unread message. It's not listed under messages, not in the inbox or folders. I can't find out where this message may be, if it's real.

The last time this happened to me it was an old message that was still unread but 15 down the list.

Yeah I am having a similar issue. Tried logging out didn't work and I got nothing in inbox or sent items

Occasionally, spammers try to use the Private Messaging system to send spam. When we detect this, we ban the account and delete all their Private Messages - including all PMs they've sent to others. This may confuse the system - so it will send you a message because you were sent a message, but the message will not be there because it's been deleted.

This is happening to me right now...is there any way of clearing it? Thank you!
