Private Message count error.

My private message indicator says that I have one unread message even when I have cleared all messages. Is there anything I can do at this end to repair that, or do I have to send an email to someone?

There are no messages in ANY of your folders, but it still says you have one unread PM?

I'm not going to delete all of mine to see if I can replicate your situation, but I'm pretty sure my unread PM count is accurate.

If it wasn't, and it always showed I had one, I'd just work with that knowledge, only checking when I got a notification or the Unread PM count read 2+. Is there a reason you can't do the same?

Yes! There is!

I'm OCD, anal, and a bore. I understand that if "Unread 1" means zero unread messages, then "Unread 2" will mean I have one unread message. But that does not solve the problem. If I have no unread message, it should read "Unread 0" as it has for six years now.

Problem solved.

I saved to my HD all of my received and sent messages (emptying all mail from various Literotica mailboxes), and that corrected the problem.

Thanks for the help. The comment about not having ANY messages, read or unread, turned on the light bulb over my head.
