Danny goes to prison for 20 years for something, but that’s not that important. The idea is a simple way into an incest story he comes out of prison after about 18 years and gradually made his way back to pick up his life in his home town. As he makes a new home just a mile away from where he grew up. Things had changed in the 18 years he was away but lots of things stayed the same.

He walks into a bar that he used to frequent, it was like time had stood still. Then she came in and walked behind the bar and he was looking at the same girl he fell in love with 20 years ago. Except it turns out it is his daughter. But how long is it before he finds out.

Have you seen the original Old Boy (2003)? You could get a lot of inspiration there. Raw, gritty, and full with naked emotions. Gripping themes and I think right up your ally.

Maybe they used a surrogate mother. They were gearing up for IVF, and hubby moved forwards without his wife when she got jailed.

I actually like Robs idea the woman has a baby arsehole of a father abducted the child and let her take the can for the crime they committed. She then comes out of prison returns home.

She finds the dive bar where she used to dance and tend bar, it was also where she met the child’s father. He was an up and coming crook that was trying to make a name for himself by pulling off more and more elaborate crimes. She gets pregnant and wants to settle down so he sets her up in a nice apartment and try’s to live a normal life.

The baby is born and he wants out so he sets her up to take the fall but in the mean time he abducts the child.

She is released and is still quite a looker and she has a thing for the boys. She returns to her old haunt and finds Rico tending bar, they flirt and this flirting leads to dinner then onto a romance, sex and finally meeting the family. Not knowing that Rico is actually her son.

Is she recognised well that is the question now isn’t it.
