Printing Issues

Hey all,
I like to print out stories to read while I'm in bed.
Ever since Literotica went with the new background (see attachment), when I print the first page of the story, it prints just fine. The type size is a nice size and is quite readable. BUT when I print any subsequent pages, the type size is so damn small that it is practically unreadable.

Since this started to happen when Literotica changed the background, I attribute this problem to the change. Does anyone else have this problem? Is literotica aware of this? Is there any plans to remedy this problem?

Any help would be appreciated!

Have you tried copying the text (either by highlighting and using CTRL+C or right-clicking, or going to Edit>Select All and then copying it), pasting it into a word processor doc, then changing the font if you want and printing it out?

Hi SweetErika,
Yes, I've been doing that. It's kind of a pain in the ass, though.
I really miss the days when you could just print all the pages and they all had the same type size.

Thanks for your suggestion anyway.

You're welcome. Sorry it wasn't helpful! IIRC, this has been discussed before, and pasting the text into a document was the best solution for saving/printing stories.

Maybe your next computer should be a laptop. I save the paper and ink and take the laptop to bed if I'm in the mood to read a story in a more relaxed setting. It's nice to have easy access when I'm on the road, too. :D

Hey SE,
A laptop is something I should keep in mind. Gotta be a Mac though. Been using one for 3 years now and I couldn't be happier with my little eMac. Those MacBooks look awfully sweet. Once you go Mac, you never go back.

Oops! Maybe I shouldn't have said that with you being from Seattle, the Empire of Windoze. :)

The cost of printing isn't an issue for me, really. I bought a cheapie laser printer and now I print for next to nothing.

Actually, we use Linux. Our desktop still has XP on one partition, but my new laptop didn't "downgrade" from Vista to XP well, so I finally converted to Linux, and couldn't be happier for the most part.

We appreciate the tax revenue and jobs M$ provides, but that's about it.

I don't care about the cost of printing as much as using resources unnecessarily. There's really no reason for me to print stories under normal circumstances when I can read them on my screen. *shrugs*

Might have been the browser

I recently upgraded to FireFox 3 and that seems to have cleared it up. I am very impressed with FF 3. It's much faster, has great features, and handles MySpace, Geocities pages, or anything with lots of enbedded gifs and java much better.

If pasting into Word... on a PC... try Edit/Paste Special/Unformated Text

...and of course print 2 sided... don't want to waste paper :)
