A cat will name itself, if you just give it time to show it's personality.

Hence the name "You Little Bastard".

I'm very fortunate I have good reflexes. Otherwise I would be sporting scars on a piece of my anatomy where guys prefer not to have scars.

I am the wrong person to ask for help in naming a cat considering one of my cats is named Smokey and the other is Bubba Shay.

Cat

keep trying for the personality thing , but not comming up with anything right now. I could call her aggravating brat. But then again in a house with 5 kids it would just make every head turn lol.

It's sad that I don't usually end up with male cats. I always wanted one named Chester after Chester the cat in the book Bunnicula. It's still one of my favorites and I wish they would make the movie.

For those who don't know the story Bunnicula was a vampire bunny who sucked vegtables, but Chester thought in time Bunnicula would suck blood. The funniest part is when (after reading a vampire book) chester decides to try to pound a stake into the little things heart. The STEAK in question was Sirloin. The mental picture of Chesters kitty fists trying to pound a sirloin steak into Bunnicula's heart still leaves me in fits of giggles.
Poor bunny,,still gotta love Chester

I have bunnicula :)

Even now, I occasionally read it and it till warms the heart :)

We have 3 cats.
Hector whose name was shortened to "Thud" because when he would fall over with a thud (he now weighs about 15 pounds); Chester, Thud's littermate, who is now called "Slink" because he has that cat slink walk down pat and Psychokitty, mainly because he is the only adult cat I've known who still chases his tail (it sneaks up on him and he has no other choice), bites it and then cries because it hurts him; and Sweetie, simply because she is.

Update

Ok oddly enough she has chosen her name. When she had none I would call her love and sweet talk her. My daughter remarks last night,"Mom why don't you just name her Love, She comes to it." And darn if the little thing desn't start purring.

Well Folks after all the debate here's her name, Love, and the kids have chosen the surname of (BIG SURPRISE) Fluffybutt. (sigh)

Here's to Love Fluffybutt, long may she live to annoy me. :p
