Princess Aiko is doing just fine

She's been bathed, officially named something really long that I didn't memorize, and doing well. Though the parent did break with tradition and named her themselves, rather than have the Emporer do it.

They had the extreme good taste to name her after Laurel's cat.

Y'all realize that Aiko is a Japanese singer that did the theme song for the Fuji TV show, "Sayonara, Ozu Sensei"? Her music has also been used in chewing gum commercials. Her two big hits were ''Hanabi (fireworks)'' and ''Kabutomushi (Beatle)''

Her newest cd features the song "Oyasuminasai" which would make a great last name for your cat.

Laurel says that Aiko means "Little Love" in Japanese.

I've never heard of the singer, but if she's the Japanese Britney Spears, then I'd probably be willing to look at a few pictures...
