Prince Willie free!

She's talking in code. Think 'royals'. Think 'don't care.'

Or maybe someone else. I really have no idea. I don't follow celebs.

Care factor = -100.
Could Prince Willie by any chance be Prince William?

And what does that mean BTW?

We need a smilie that says "I'm more than consfused."

Handsome Prince William is no longer seeing the lovely Kate Middleton. AKA, her fifteen minutes of fame are over

Kate Not Fit for a Prince?

It's hard out there for a ... prince. Prince William and longtime girlfriend Kate Middleton have split. The 24-year-old prince and his older ladyfriend (she's 25) met while studying at St. Andrews University in Scotland, and have been seen around Britain doing all of those things regular young folks do -- you know, going to polo matches, attending fancy dress balls, and vacationing in obscure tropical locales.

According to a friend of the couple, the split was "amicable," reports People. Reps for the prince refused to comment.

Hmm... not sure how much she enjoyed the fame, considering she reported to the press complaints commission to get the photographers off her back. tbh I think that's a large part of why they split.

Oh and I think the original poster was claiming that they cared about the 'royal split' to a factor of minus one hundred. ie- not a jot.
all clear?

<who was offered a place on the same course at the same uni as Prince William for the same year, but declined, mostly because she didn't want to put up with the hoo hah>

<shudder>
I'd stick to Harry if I were you, better looking, more hair and probably more fun to hang out with. William looks like he has the biggest stick up his arse.

Agree, but Will is right after his father in line for the crown. That, itself, is quite a fantasy :D.

I think you're being unfair.
William has the responsibility of heir to the throne - a certain amount of grooming goes on.....Harry doesn't have that pressure. I also find him a tad irresponsible. Likeable, but a tad wayward.

At least he has a cool nickname: Harry Pothead. ;)

But if you had to choose one for a quick fling? Who'd want Wills?
Also - Queen of England? Not all it's cracked up to be - probably the most boring job in the world, not to mention the most restrictive. Yawnsville.

Didn't find the Nazi uniform at all amusing, by the way. Then again, I'm hypersensitive to racial issues because I keep getting accused (wrongfully) of being a racist. It's the whole being a white African expat thing.

On the other hand, Prince Harry seems to be a free spirit, which I admire, since I'm living with one in my flat. ;)

Incidentally, can you blame Prince William? You're young, you're a handsome bloke, you're charismatic and rich....do you really want to be tied down to one lass at that age, when the dames are drooling over you? It's not like they let you have mistresses anymore, and he's still too young for those, anyway. Give the lad a few more years to at least sow his wild oats before having to do the whole marriage/monogamy thing. It's not as if he has the poly option like most of his future subjects. I know that I'd never favour a trade of station with him in the long term, so let him have the only pleasure he can at his age.

I think the Nazi uniform was tactless, but more of a stupid teenager thing than maliciousness. Silly fart.
tbh I think the royals, much as I love the idea of them, are really a bit past their best. Most of them would be far happier just doing charity work and having a private life.

That's what Charles did. Then by the time he was ready to settle down Camilla had moved on and found someone else...

Well, I'm still looking forward to a monarchy that can move past Victorian sexual ethics. ;) :D A hipper, more liberated sovereign, to symbolise a modern Britannia.

Has anyone considered the fact that this breakup could be a ploy?

Kate's been complaining about the press hounding her, William's got two years of military service that isn't going to make it that easy to get together as often as they would like. This way, they agree to take a break, the press gets off her back and he focuses on his service.

I wouldn't get too excited girls until William's out of the Army first.
