In the world of collectable cards, there is one group of kids that the companies have imagined they'd never get...little girls. Oh, yes, there've been cards featuring favorite dolls or Disney princesses...but how do you get them to do as boys do with cards? Go wild for a card game so that they keep collecting, trading, and buying ever more and more looking for special cards....?
Well, a Danish company has discovered the answer, and they've started up over here. Testing, evidently, has put these cards off the scale in popularity and now they're out in stores.
Horses. Pretty, pretty horses. With special horses in each deck--like Pegasus or horses with fish tails or butterfly wings. Even a *pirate* horse (he comes with parrot and a treasure chest).
Don't you feel dumb that you didn't think of it first?
But wait! There's more for your little 8-year-old daughter! So, you buy her a packet of cards, and now she has these pretty, pretty horses. Going to the website, she can enter in a code for each horse and...now she has her own stable! She can visit each horse, and when she does, she sees a positive phrase to uplift her. She can clean out the stall, feed and water them.
But wait! There's more! Games of course. She can do a puzzle, dress up a horse with saddle and blanket and even a hat, she can do the jumping game (and earn trophies and ribbons!), even take a little test on what's what on a horse. The only thing she can't do is put the pony out to pasture or breed it.
Popular? From what I'm hearing, yeah. You bet. So...I figure, for all of us with little 8-year-old girls inside of us, we might as well start an AH's stable (minds out of the porn, folks! Not that kind of stable). It's located here:

Feel free to feed him, water him, clean out the stall, take care of his hooves, give him an apple. You get points for it. But don't stay longer than an hour...the site thinks you're 8-years-old and will want you to go do your homework. And do take note of the uplifting saying that goes with him.
