It seemes that most start out about 60-70% approval and go down as they fail to improve conditions. Ike was the only one to maintaine his approval ratings very well.

"W" was dismal despite the boost he had after 9-11.

Bush 41 was almost as bad but he got the Saudies to pay for his war!

Clinton did all right - he was more popular at the end of his presidency than at the beginning.
