A thought exercise:

a). "I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the Office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States."

b) President Biden and maaaaaaany other members of the military and academia (including former members of Donald Trump’s inner circle and his own niece) have concluded that Donald Trump is a threat (continuing, really) to the Constitution and the United States: An insurrection; talk of suspending the Constitution; vows to be a dictator; threats of retribution; the advertised “Project 2025” fascist blueprint; the seating of corrupt "justices" on the courts; the adjudicated sexual assault; the conviction in the Hush Money case; the pending prosecutions, etc, etc.

c). The corrupt right wing majority on the SCOTUS has just decreed that a President is IMMUNE from criminal prosecution if they do anything that is an official act in line with their duties as President.

d). Does President Biden have any choice but to order the elimination of Donald Trump and the members of his cabal??? Wouldn’t it be gross negligence and a dereliction of duty / office to “peacefully” transfer power (in the event Donald Trump somehow wins the election) to someone who President Biden himself (as well as those mentioned) has deemed a clear and present danger to the Constitution and America???



I would posit that President Biden really wouldn’t have a choice, (whether he was "legally" immune from prosecution or not), to eliminate the threat posed by Donald Trump and his cabal rather than let them take power.

- Delegate planning and execution to your vice president. She’s served you well on immigration and border control.

I'm of the belief that maybe Biden should use this newfound power granted him for what would be perceived as 'benefitingl goods' and to do even more things to secure his re-election. He could immediately impose ethics reforms on SCOTUS. He could now, without repercussions, get rid of DeJoy at the Post Office. He could declare abortion a health crisis and open up now closed abortion clinics. Just a shit ton of things he could do to bypass redtape and help people. Patriotic isn’t part of the test here. It’s just legal and logical.

Defend the constitution against all enemies foreign and domestic. I would expect our current president to consider all of his options and delegate to the appropriate cabinet heads for consideration before action.

But the legal system has done their job, and not even from the federal level… but since their is a swath of knuckle dragging MAGA zombies who like the idea of a criminal in chief….
