Ok from a pet, slave or general submissive what is the best gift or surprise you have received from your Master or Dom?

For me, the best (so far) has been needle play. It was something I told my Sir I was curious about months ago, and he surprised me the other night with a needle scene. I was a happy pet.

And we are close to picking out my permanent collar

While YK is not really a "pet, slave or general submissive," but rather a masochist and my life partner, among the top gifts/surprises she's given me have been last Christmas's bandsaw, which I hope to soon have the strength to use to begin producing paddles again, and the present she gave me for Easter/the beginning of chemo and radiation treatments, my Kindle. The Kindle has been with me almost 24/7 ever since, and I think over the three and a half months or so since she gave it to me, I've read over 100 books on it. Each time I sit in a waiting room, and before I go to sleep at night, and whenever I'm in the mood to read (a lot!), I remember her giving it to me, and the joyful look on her face when my eyes got big and I smiled at the thought of all the books I'd be able to read on it without having to carry them all around with me. She knows what works for me.

It's going to sound corny, but the best gift was always time.

I have a busy life and so have both my significant exes. Just making time for each other was always gift enough.

Besides, the people who know me best know I don't really like object type gifts. Take me on a picnic or a road trip or build a pillow fort with me or talk to me until the sun comes up.

Play with me, spend time with me and I'm a happy woman.

We generally don't exchange gifts. Which means when I do receive that very rare gift in the mail or in person it is very special. Playlists of music that is special to us, or reminds him of me or has some other special meaning is one of my favorites.

Simple jewelry that I can wear everyday is nice, too. Nothing expensive just, for example, a pair of earrings he saw while away on business that he thought were perfect for me.

It's great to receive gifts unexpectedly on non-holidays.
