Odd question here, but I don't feel like looking in the dream dictionary because I think students of Freud wrote the damn thing, if you get my drift. I dreamed the night before last that I had blood in my underpants and night shorts....

What's it mean?

are you gonna call me????

I'm alive today LOL

and dreams - dreams have so many meanings
it really does depend on what your iconography and idealogy are though

and sometimes its just your fear being expressed....

I wanna friggin' call you but I still have no damn charger and I'm going to end up probably waiting until tomorrow to figure out where and how to get a new charger.

My dreams are usually about worries I have.

Panic dreams - when I was an undergrad it was about performances, test taking, major projects or assignments. When I was pregnant it was about things that could go wrong during pregnancy and delivery. Whenever my husband and I made major financial decisions (new cars, the house, etc.) it was about that.

During pregnancy the dreams were varied and senseless, but I think it all came down to worries.

Peace to you.

Yep...that sounds right. I'm terrified something is going to happen or I'm going to miscarry....very trying few months here...

Funnily enough...I don't honestly think it's going to happen, and I know my fears only come from the first miscarriage I had. Besides...15/16 weeks...have I made it relatively home free yet?

I haven't been pregnant for a few years but I thought most miscarriages were during the first trimester?

If so, seems you're past the worst of that fear, anyway.

Yeah I would say that you are ok. When I misscarried all of my symptoms like morning sickness went away first.

reccurant dreams

when i was preggers with the first child i had the dream that i was eating something and when i bit down all my teeth crumbled and it would physically gag me awake.
no idea about that but every now and again, i have the same dream.

miscarriages. i have had five documented and one too early to document. none of them were the same and the only one i had after 16 weeks was because we found out that the twins were fine except they had no brains/full skulls...just stems so i opted to end the pregnancy.

i have a feeling that you will be just fine and as, i think sarah said, they usually happen pretty early.

however, im thinking of you and sending positive vibes your way because i know how scary the first few months can be. four weeks and you'll be relaxed.

massive gentle hugs

I had a similar dream about the teeth...I bit down on something and the entire left hand side of my top teeth, including my gums, came out in one piece in my hand and then crumbled...

That sucks man ----

Just ring me up when you get the chance....

also... I will email you the link about possible independent work...

It's probably just worry, I agree. I kept having dreams that my baby was already born and that someone was trying to steal him. In every dream, I'd frantically tear up the house, looking for him.

Oh, and I also had a lot of sexy lesbian bondage dreams too...so maybe you'll get those instead.

I had one that seemed like it MIGHT turn out to be a sex dream, but it was a stressful, tearful dream....of course, that was just recently when I still thought I was going to have to leave Luna and go back to Chicago.

You might want to ask your partner if you occasionally grind your teeth in your sleep. If if happens during REM sleep, it can trigger this sort of dream.

Just a thought,

Maharat

It's not unusual at all to have vivid dreams during pregnancy. I had the crumbling gums dream, which is probably due to the fact that most pregnant women have bleeding gums at some point.

The dream you had is most assuredly because of your miscarriage fears.

I had vivid dreams with all my pregnancies. With the first, I dreamed I was in bed with my husband, and he reached over the side of the bed and pulled a butcher knife from under the bed. At that point, I awoke and my husband was reaching over to the side of the bed. Imagine his surprise when I jumped up screaming. He was reaching for his water. It took him about an hour to calm me down.

I finally found that meditation and yoga helped me to calm down and focus my mind on more pleasant things. This seemed to keep the dreams to a minimum.

It's weird. I'm fine during the day, happy...totally content. And then my dreams go crazy!! It's funny because even when I'm not pregnant, I have vivid, weird dreams. It's like they went from Technicolor to High Definition.
