Family tradition is that Grandpa gets first fucking rights with every new bride.

The women compete to try to get impregnated by this "master sperm" rather than their hubby's diluted version.

I may eventually finish THAT'S MY GIRL, TOO where the narrator seduces her father, who is also her grandfather. It will end better than CHINATOWN.

and let's not even mention the Chinatown sequel...oops, I already did.

Starting young, Greg can be a grandpa by age 34 and thus have LIT-legal twin granddaughters when he's a well-exercised 52. The family has long skinny-dipped in the backyard pool and the granddaughters have long admired his manly manhood. Do the young ladies share grandpa Greg then, or compete?

Hey, I *liked* "The Two Jakes." I'm sorry they never got around to making the third film in the planned trilogy.

Our family holds that when my newly-wed cousin Terry was about to be deployed overseas, our grandpa Terry wrapped his arm around the new bride, squeezed her boob, and proclaimed, "While young Terry's away, old Terry will play!" Nobody told me how grandpa Terry's wife reacted but I can guess.

on Lit there could only be one answer...

Not sure I'd go for the "family tradition" thing. Let's face it, that goes out of its way to fight shy of tackling the original cause or reason behind said tradition. Lazy writing.

That original cause is what would interest me.

I think I'd rather go for describing the change of a "traditional", maybe fairly prudish, nuclear family to a let-it-rip incest modus vivendi via some transformative event. THAT would be the imaginative challenge.

the origins can be lost in the sands of time... Grandpa learned from his Grandpa who learned it from...

the oldest grandson looks forward to the day...

Sure... but as I said, an easy get-out.

Some issues are best finessed -- the author says it's so, then it is SO. That wee little arm reaching out from Grandpa's navel? Do not try to explain.
